SMS Consent & Messaging Policy

Biznmotion LLC sends SMS text messages on behalf of the local businesses that use our platform (our “business clients”). This page documents exactly how consumer consent is collected before any message is sent, what kinds of messages consumers receive, and how to stop receiving them.

1. How consent is collected

Consumers are only messaged through one of the following opt-in paths:

  • Written consent at the point of service. The business collects the customer’s name and mobile number on a service or intake form that includes the following disclosure, presented next to the phone-number field:

“By providing your phone number, you agree to receive service-related text messages (such as appointment confirmations and review requests) from [Business Name], powered by Biznmotion LLC. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our privacy policy at biznmotion.com/privacy.”

  • Consumer-initiated contact. When a consumer calls or texts a business first (for example, a missed call to the business’s published phone number), the business may reply by text to that same number to answer the inquiry. These are conversational replies to a consumer-initiated interaction. The first reply identifies the business and includes opt-out instructions.

2. What messages consumers receive

  • Replies to a call or text the consumer placed to the business (missed-call text-back).
  • Appointment or booking confirmations and reminders.
  • A post-service review request, with at most one follow-up reminder.

These are service messages between a consumer and a business they have chosen to do business with. We do not send promotional blasts, and we do not message purchased lists. Typical frequency is 1–3 messages per service interaction.

3. Opting out and getting help

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. No further messages will be sent to your number.
  • Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at [email protected].
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.

4. Privacy of your mobile information

Mobile phone numbers and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data will not be shared with any third parties. Messages are delivered through Twilio, our communications provider, solely to transmit the messages described above.
