SMS Consent & Messaging Policy

Biznmotion LLC sends SMS text messages on behalf of the local businesses that use our platform (our “business clients”). This page documents exactly how consumer consent is collected before any message is sent, what kinds of messages consumers receive, and how to stop receiving them. It also covers the texts Biznmotion sends about its own demos (section 3), and about a question or a website quote you send us (section 4).

1. How consent is collected

Consumers are only messaged through one of the following opt-in paths:

  • Written consent at the point of service. The business collects the customer’s name and mobile number on a service or intake form that includes the following disclosure, presented next to the phone-number field:

“By providing your phone number, you agree to receive service-related text messages (such as appointment confirmations and review requests) from [Business Name], powered by Biznmotion LLC. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our privacy policy at biznmotion.com/privacy.”

  • Consumer-initiated contact. When a consumer calls or texts a business first (for example, a missed call to the business’s published phone number), the business may reply by text to that same number to answer the inquiry. These are conversational replies to a consumer-initiated interaction. The first reply identifies the business and includes opt-out instructions.

2. What messages consumers receive

  • Replies to a call or text the consumer placed to the business (missed-call text-back).
  • Appointment or booking confirmations, changes and reminders.
  • A post-service review request, with at most one follow-up reminder.

These are service messages between a consumer and a business they have chosen to do business with. We do not send promotional blasts for our business clients, and we do not message purchased lists. Typical frequency is 1-3 messages per service interaction.

3. Texts from Biznmotion about your demo

When you request a demo from Biznmotion, or fill in our setup survey, the form has a separate box for marketing texts. It is not ticked unless you tick it. If you do, you agree to receive automated marketing text messages from Biznmotion LLC, such as your demo link and a few short follow-up questions about it. Consent is not a condition of getting a demo or buying anything.

  • After a demo, the follow-ups are your demo link and up to three short questions over the following week, then they stop.
  • We send them only between 11am and 7pm in your time zone.
  • Every message tells you to reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • If you do not tick the box, we send the same follow-ups by email instead.

4. Texts about a question or a website quote you sent us

When you send us a question or ask for a website quote, you can choose to get the reply by text. That needs its own box, which is not ticked unless you tick it. It covers texts about that question or quote only. We send no marketing texts under it. Consent is not a condition of getting an answer or a quote.

  • The first text only asks whether it’s OK to text you. Nothing else is texted until you reply YES.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. The first text and our reply to your YES say so too.
  • If you choose email, or do not tick the box, the reply comes by email.

5. Opting out and getting help

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. You get one text confirming the opt-out, then no more messages are sent to your number.
  • Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at [email protected].
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.

6. Privacy of your mobile information

Mobile phone numbers and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data will not be shared with any third parties. Messages are delivered through Twilio, our communications provider, solely to transmit the messages described above.
